Now Teens Talk, Will You Listen?
Now The Teens Talk, Will You Listen? Dan Burrell and Meg Wall came up with the idea to have parents send in questions about their teens and teens from around the community answer anonymously and other teens read and answer the questions on stage.
The Diversity Production film crew started 5 weeks before Teen Talk launched at Matilija Auditorium on October 29, 2009. Jim McEachen, a local cinematographer who currently works for Disney, decided to mentor this group of 8 high schoolers through the process of filming, "Now the Teens Talk...Will You Listen?" Teen Talk was such a powerful imprint on the community that allowed students an honest and authentic voice.
